I had parked in the lot of a small business for which it was after hours, didnt notice any signs. Came outside to find my new TT about ready to be towed, tow truck was backing up to my car. About 20 cars in the area near mine had boots on them and were being towed away one at a time by several trucks. Thankfully I got to mine before it was towed but the guy wouldn't remove the boot without me paying and said I wouldn't get the car back until the next day at some lot down town(pretty far away). I was ready to explode but was relieved that my car was not damaged so I paid. These crooks must solicit business owners and offer them $ to patrol their lots. A friends car was allready towed and in transit, he somehow got his back that night and followed the tow truck. These guys were actually towing the cars about five blocks away to another lot and rebooting them so they could get as many as possible. They made a business out of screwing people, they had it well thought out by using the boots and everything. Even the homemade No Parking signs were very thin and posted on telephone polls in shadowed areas so they were almost invisible at night.
